Highlights. Versatile, unique, tailor-made – no matter what equipment or model variant of the Polo IV you opt for, you'll be sure to enjoy the highlights it has to offer.
Compact, sporty, high-quality, dynamic: the Polo 4 (9N3) is a meticulously thought-out design masterpiece. Fans won't be able to get enough of the vast array of details - such as the clear glass cover for the twin headlamps and indicators, revealing the fascinating technology inside.
Highly convenient standard features: electro-hydraulic power steering, make-up mirror in both sun visors, electric windows at front, central locking system and much more make your Polo a truly relaxing place to be. The 3 equipment lines - Comfortline, Trendline and Sportline - and the various equipment packages provide everything you could want and more.
Fitted with standard equipment such as ABS, (side) airbags for the driver and front passenger, and three-point automatic seat belt, your Polo will never leave your safety to chance. Thanks to a third raised brake light, a new tail light cluster design and, upon request, a fog light, both you and your fellow road users will benefit from your increased visibility. The standard ISOFIX retaining rings in ISOFIX child seats make sure that your little passengers will be safely buckled in - and you are more relaxed at the wheel.
When it comes to the crunch: within a split second, the electronic stabilisation programme (ESP, standard equipment from 74 kW upwards) engages with the engine and brake management systems to stabilise the vehicle. When things get a little tight: with the optional ParkPilot system, your Polo checks within the scope of the system boundaries and recognises parking spaces that you otherwise would have driven past - and then helps you to manoeuvre into the space using automatic steering. You only need to focus on the accelerator, brake and clutch, and can keep an eye on the vehicle surroundings.
Lives up to the hype: aerodynamically-shaped vehicle body, 5-speed manual gearbox with rpm reduction - this BlueMotion model will also win you over with its low consumption values, making it the most economical model of its generation. Its power is provided by the 1.4 L TDI engine, with an output of 50 kW (80 hp).
Both in terms of technology and appearance, this GTI model earns its sporty stripes: turbo-charging up to 110 kW (150 hp), approx. 15 mm lowered sports running gear, ventilated brake discs up to 288 mm and standard equipment with ESP - precisely the right technical properties to complement red brake calipers, the black radiator grill with honeycomb pattern, sill extensions, the roof edge spoiler and, of course, the red GTI elements featured in the design.
